Our client is a leading manufacturing business who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to help maintain/repair their machinery manufacturing critical Aeronautical & Energy components. Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance repairing and maintaining Large industrial machinery such as hammers, presses and CNC machinery
  • Assist with the introduction of new or modified parts, equipment and tooling.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • To prioritise resources across the site to ensure that breakdowns are resolved as efficiently as possible.
  • To participate with the successful introduction of new/modified parts, equipment and tooling.
  • To ensure all team members work in a safe manner adhering to all health and safety requirements.
  • To maintain and improve productivity so that production schedules and customer needs are met.
  • To proactively ensure the preventative maintenance schedule is fit for purpose and is adhered to, particularly for all equipment.
  • To ensure that agreed customer delivery times are achieved and that customers receive a high standard of service at all times.
  • To ensure all necessary arrangements for contractors are dealt with in a timely manner and meet health and safety policy requirements.

Maintenance Engineer Lead

Desired but not essential:

  • Experience of working and fault finding on Machine Tools, CNC machines etc would be beneficial.
  • This position could suit someone leaving the forces looking to start a new career
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance work and reactive work
  • Interpreting work instructions, drawings and schematic drawings
  • Computer literate

Working hours

3 shift pattern

Week 1:

Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm

Week 2:

Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm

Week 3:

Monday – Friday 10pm – 6am
