Accounts Payable Associate

We are seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Associate to join a dynamic team within a highly reputable firm in the film production industry. This new position offers the opportunity to take control of the Purchase Ledger function for various film productions and work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and the team. The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months of experience in processing invoices and expenses and possess excellent communication skills.
Day to Day of the role:
- Manage the Accounts Payable Inbox, ensuring timely processing of all communications.
- Process invoices by matching them to PO numbers and accurately inputting and coding into accounting software.
- Set up new clients on Sage software and maintain accurate client records.
- Address and resolve client invoice queries and staff payment queries.
- Perform reconciliation of statements and process credit card expense claims.
- Handle cash processing and reconcile VAT receipts, inputting data into Sage.
- Assist staff with any expense-related queries and conduct weekly payment runs.
- Compile and reconcile various reports and undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6-12 months of accounts payable experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using Sage accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
