Description

As Manufacturing Engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Experience of manufacturing complex large fabrications
  • Track record of delivering Manufacturing improvements including change over time reduction, cycle time, error-proofing and fixture design would be advantageous.
  • Ability to review Quality data to identify and prioritise improvement actions
  • Create, manage and deliver improvement action plans
  • Implement a customer focused, operational improvement culture delivering world class customer service levels.
  • Coordinate cross functional team activities to optimise cost performance of the plant through capital investment programmes, optimising operating standards and minimising waste through the development of a continuous improvement culture encompassing lean principles
  • Support and lead structured problem solving and process improvement activities, 8D or similar
  • Provide design for manufacturing input in new product development process, coordinate and support the new product development team in developing effective processes to ensure manufacturability of products, maintaining quality, safety, cost and environmental standards.
  • Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to.
  • Implement effective containment and permanent corrective actions to manufacturing quality and process issues.

Profile

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A deep understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards.

Job Offer
