Our client, a lovely daytime restaurant, based near Alton, Hampshire, are looking to recruit a chef to join their team.
As a chef at this popular daytime restaurant, you'll create a stunning selection of diverse menu items for the customers. You'll be able to put your skills to good use creating masterful dishes, as well as mouth-watering cakes. You will work as part of a team under the guidance of the Head Chef and make and deliver meals to customers promptly.

The role includes:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
- Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Managing and training any trainees
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Ensure all areas of the kitchen and storage areas are clean ready for use.
- Inspect cooking equipment, supplies, work areas and ingredients to ensure constant conformance to regulatory standards.
Hours:
The Chef position is contracted as 40 hours per week, daytime shifts from 8am - 4pm. 5 days out of 7.
