To be successful in this role as Principal Ecologist, you'll need:

  • A relevant degree in Ecology or a related field.
  • Extensive professional experience, ideally at the Senior Ecologist level.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients, design teams, planners, and regulators.
  • Proven expertise in preparing technical reports, including EcIAs, HRAs, BNG assessments, and more.
  • Commercial awareness and a knack for business development.
  • Full Membership of CIEEM (Chartered Ecologist/Environmentalist status is a plus).
  • A Full UK driving licence.
