We are looking for a Part time Litter Picker based in Ashford.

Working as a litter picker can be a rewarding job, both for the environment and for your own sense of accomplishment. Here's a breakdown of what you might expect from such a role:

Responsibilities:

  • Litter Collection: Your primary duty would be to collect litter from designated areas such as parks, streets, and other public spaces.
  • Sorting and Disposal: Properly sorting recyclable materials from general waste and ensuring they are disposed of correctly.
  • Safety Measures: Adhering to safety protocols to protect yourself from hazardous materials or situations.
  • Reporting: Noting any hazardous items or areas needing attention, such as broken glass or sharp objects, to appropriate authorities.
  • Community Engagement: Sometimes, litter picking involves engaging with the community to raise awareness about the importance of keeping public spaces clean.

Hours: 06:30am - 1:00pm Monday to Friday

Please note you will need to have a FULL uk Driving Licence.
