Haysare seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team, working with varioussecondary schools in the Stroud area. This role is perfect for individuals whoare passionate about education and have a proven track record of working withchildren in an educational setting. We have full-time and part-timeopportunities currently available for September or work flexibly offering dailysupply to local schools. We are open to both qualified teachers and ECT's.
Your new role
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence ofteachers.
- Ensure a positive learning environment ismaintained.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure studentsremain on task.
- Support students with their learning and address anyquestions or concerns.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuityof education.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working with children/leadinglarge groups
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Confidence and good communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding
- Previous cover supervisor experience (Desirable)
