Facilities Manager (Central London)

We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Manager to oversee the operations of a prominent centre in Central London. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities, providing a safe, efficient, and professional environment for our users. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee health and safety compliance, conduct risk assessments, and manage safety procedures.
  • Manage and develop a team of Facilities Support Assistants, overseeing daily operations.
  • Handle routine maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely resolution of facilities-related issues.
  • Engage with tenants and conference users to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns swiftly.
  • Manage documentation and record-keeping for all building maintenance and safety checks.
  • Support the Centre Manager with various operational and strategic tasks to improve service delivery and achieve organizational goals.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in facilities or property management, preferably within a corporate or commercial setting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to tackle issues proactively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, RICS, or equivalent) highly regarded.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Salary: Up to £37,000, based on experience
