As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be a crucial part of the finance team, responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments and ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and on time. **Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage a high volume of supplier invoices
- Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment runs
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments
- Handle queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
**Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within the construction industry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
