Are you a UK based sales professional with experience of identifying and winning business in the microgrid energy market?
Do you have a strong, demonstrable knowledge of microgrids and their components including inverters, energy storage devices, PV systems, wind power and G99 / G100 requirements?
Do you hold a full UK driving licence?
Are you qualified up to degree level (HND level will be considered)?
Are you willing to cover sales opportunities across the whole of the UK & Northern Ireland including regular travel to visit prospect and customer sites?

What you need:
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of basic theory and operation of microgrids and microgrid components, including inverters, energy storage devices, PV systems, wind power, and G99 / G100 requirements
- Experience in the sales of hybrid microgrid, energy storage, or renewable energy markets
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related program or equivalent industry experience hugely desirable
- Experience in the electrical power generation, parallel operation of AC sources, switchgear, and/or electrical controls markets preferred with the ability to comprehend 1-line and 3-line electrical schematics related to this industry
- A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel regularly including overseas visits to manufacturing sites.

The role
* Finding new potential customers and business opportunities in the Hybrid microgrid and Renewable Energy markets
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of microgrid opportunities
- Establishing an initial feasibility assessment of microgrid opportunities, and working with Engineering, Project Management and Business Development departments to refine and quote the scope of the project
- Compiling offers and quotations for new and existing customers
- Establishing, developing and maintaining good professional long-term relationships and communication with existing and potential customers
- Planning and arrangement of exhibitions when required
