Description

  • This role will assist in developing first class internal and external financial reporting in line with changes to financial reporting frameworks
  • This role will assist in producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts and in group consolidation process.
  • This role will be the management accountant for the property and holding companies that we have within its wider structure, producing monthly management accounts, budgeting and and forecasting.

  • Working with the group reporting accountant and group finance manager to provide regular review of financial accounting standards and updates
  • Prepare and produce standalone statutory accounts for the property and holding companies within the group and to assist in the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
  • Assist in preparation and production of the annual and interim financial statements
  • Assistance in external audit process through the year end and half year audits for group accounts and the relevant
  • Working closely with our tax advisors on corporation tax and vat to ensure that tax is calculated, filed to and paid promptly with
  • Month end accounting for property and holding company subsidiaries including accruals, prepayments, general book-keeping and variance
  • Maintaining schedules and prepare monthly journals to support subsidiaries team on their month-end reporting.
  • Assist in quarterly in-year Forecasting, annual budgeting.
  • Maintaining records of intercompany transactions and reconciliation of intercompany balances within group entities on monthly basis. Liaise with subsidiaries team to resolve variances.
  • Updating cash forecast and give weekly updates on cash position and liquidity requirement to senior management. Manage the drawdown, repayment and roll-over of RCF facility within the group

Profile

  • Experienced in preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts.
  • Experience in preparing group consolidation schedule is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, maintaining and building relationships with a variety of key stakeholders
  • Strong numerical and analytical
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to communicate well with colleagues at all levels of the
  • Ability to liaise with other teams to ensure efficient monthly
  • May be working towards an accountancy degree
