Forensic Accountant
to join their team based in the Birmingham area.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Examining financial statements, transactions, and records in-depth to look for irregularities, fraud, or misconduct.
- Applying forensic accounting methods to track down money, find hidden assets, and identify financial fraud.
- Assemble proof and data pertinent to financial inquiries.
- Creating thorough reports that succinctly and clearly summarise the facts, analysis, and conclusions.
- Helping customers put in place efficient internal controls and processes to stop and identify financial fraud.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
- Qualified by ACCA or ACA
- Two years minimum of verified account experience in a professional setting
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Xero and other programs as needed. Understanding their advantages and applications
- Comprehensive understanding of account preparation
