QA & Test Specialist - Software Tester

About the role

The QA & Test Specialist performs an essential role in the department as they ensure that all Ferry & Terminal systems are fit for purpose and working to specified business requirements. You will work in a cross functional agile team, and in close collaboration with other teams and colleagues, utilising your professional skills to test all our in house developed systems that are deployed within a 24/7 operational business such as ours.

Working Monday to Friday, the successful candidate will be working in a very expressive team who like to drive their products forward and inspire new ideas. ??

You will be responsible for:

  • Testing of in sprint PBI's System regression testing writing & executing test scripts/cases
  • Develop automated test frameworks
  • Bug Reporting
  • Provide objective feedback to dev team Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Active development team member in Scrum team meetings

About you

We would like you to have some experience as a Software Tester or similar role or degree, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Be able to work on your own initiative, within a fast-paced environment and be able to demonstrate proficiency in boundary testing, decision tables etc. with experience of tracking defects in Azure DevOps or similar. You will need to be comfortable working and collaborating with the product and development teams, as well as stakeholders from across the company to understand the business demands, the functionality required, and helping to develop the platform, delivering value to our terminal operations throughout Europe.
