Job Title: Procurement Manager

Remuneration: £55,000 - £60,000 per year

Are you a talented and experienced Procurement Manager ready to take the lead in driving strategic sourcing and supply chain capabilities in a dynamic organisation? Look no further! Our client is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join their team and play a vital role in their success.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast demand, conduct research for optimal product sourcing, forecast price trends, and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, negotiate contracts, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure service quality.
- Develop and implement strategies aligned with organisational goals, meet cost savings targets, negotiate supply agreements, and optimise inventory.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, manage vulnerability assessments, and maintain an ethical supply chain.
- Motivate and performance manage the procurement team, chair meetings, and attend management sessions.
- Contribute to the company's plans and utilise technology for process improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- CIPS qualifications or working towards this
- Experience as a Procurement Manager
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective negotiation skills and understanding of contract law
- Up-to-date understanding of external supply markets and emerging trends
