REED Accountancy are currently partnered exclusively with a global supply chain & brokerage business based in Henley-on-Thames. This business is looking for a confident Bookkeeper to join their team in a stand-alone role who can gather information for the outsourced accounting team.
This position will be responsible for collating the financial information used to prepare the Management & Statutory Accounts as well as working on all daily payments. This would be best suited to a candidate with good knowledge of accounting principles.
You will be reporting into the Managing Director and working closely with the outsourced accountancy team. Experience with Xero would be advantageous but not essential
Duties for the role include but are not limited to,
- Collating all financial information to be sent across to the external accounting team
- Cash Flow Reporting
- Journals, Accruals, Prepayments
- Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax-related documents.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of Month End close
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors
The role will be office based with working hours of 9am to 5pm. The office has free onsite parking and also close to local public transport routes.
