MUST HAVE BOUTIQUE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES EXP

A boutique professional services firm based in the Camden area is looking for an Office Manager to join their diverse and entrepreneurial business with lots of scope to develop and progress into an Operations role further down the line. Initially the role will be based on reception covering for the Receptionist who is on maternity leave (6 months); this will be a good way to be imbedded in the business and understand how the FOH works as well as slowly picking up the office management piece.

They are looking for an experienced office manager who has excellent organisational skills and a professional, client facing disposition. The ideal candidate will have a natural flexibility in handling day-to-day routines as well as surprises. This person will also help the Leadership achieve organisational efficiency by nurturing a positive, inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee visitors to the office and ensure a friendly, personal experience
  • Ensure policies and procedures are in line with legal requirements, measure outcomes against standards.
  • Source and build relationships with external providers
  • Internal tech support and liaise with IT provider on larger issues Finance - petty cash/expenditures etc.
  • Assist with office improvement, take ownership on costings and suppliers.
  • Full lifecycle of Health and Safety functions and annual FM requirements
  • Ensure office efficiency by maintaining common areas, organising procedures, handling correspondence, managing file systems, and overseeing supplies and equipment
  • Oversee and maintain office equipment for uninterrupted function, identify needs and acquire supplies, manage vendor relationships, and coordinate food deliveries when requested
  • Manage all aspects of space/infrastructure planning (ex: moves, additions, changes to workstations) and provide answers, resources, and solutions when requested

Key Skills and experience:

  • Two or more years of experience in office management within a boutique professional services environment
  • Strong time-management and people skills, high degree of flexibility, and excellent multitasking ability
  • Evidence of working in a client facing, client centric organsiation
  • Experience in developing internal systems
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with online platforms
  • Must have H&S experience - full lifecycle of that and FM annual testing etc
