We are looking for a Learning Delivery Manager to join our growing Learning and Capability Team. You will be responsible for the smooth running and delivery of training and learning requirements across the business. Collaborating with other GDNs, you will also be focused on ensuring quality and assurances are maintained at a high level across all training material and delivery.

I help to keep people safe and warm by...

  • Managing a team of training officers to maximise efficiencies and company training outputs, while building development and succession opportunities within your team
  • Managing and supporting the daily running of internal training centres across the business
  • Working with the T&D Management Team and key stakeholders to improve learning solutions and contribute to internal steering groups, providing key guidance
  • Ensuring internal and external trainers / vendors deliver consistent high quality solutions
  • Delivering programmes and qualifications in compliance with the requirements of Certification Bodies, including NVQ onsite inspections
  • Promoting consistency through standardisation of delivery practises and ensuring compliance within our audit frameworks
  • Liaising with teams across the business toward delivery of established direct and future needs
  • Engage and support with all major projects related to T&D and champion modern learning strategies implementation

What you'll need

  • Proven managerial experience and delivery, preferably in the gas industry but not essential
  • You have successful experience running, mentoring and developing a delivery team
  • You have a focus on excellence and user experience
  • You have a keen eye for detail, planning and organisation with the ability to prioritise busy workloads
  • Proven people management skills with experience growing and motivating a team
  • You are proficient in IT software, particularly the use of the full Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • You have previous experience of using a Learning Management System
