Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Suffolk, with travel between RAF Lakenheath (IP27 9PP), RAF Milden Hall (IP28 8NF) and RAF Feltwell (IP26 4HL)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30AM-4:30PM)

Here at VIVO we are looking for a focused and proactive Legionella Monitoring Engineer to join a team of 2 to undertake statutory plant maintenance tasks across RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Feltwell.

After being assigned buildings, you will be attending commercial buildings such as gyms, shopping centres, cinemas, and other public buildings to ensure they are safe from legionella. To do this, you will be checking water samples and testing them for legionella, temperature testing, inspecting outlets with little foot traffic are free of limescale, to ensure that all water sources on site are compliant with JSP375. Every testing activity you undertake will need to be reported in a building specific logbook.

Within the USVF team they are happy to upskill and develop members skills and experiences, for example with this role offering training in plumbing and health and safety courses.

What you'll need to do this role??

First and foremost, it is essential that you have Legionella Awareness Training, and highly desirable that you have a background in mechanical plumbing. It is also desirable that you have a Health and Safety qualification.
You will be able to write clearly and have a keen eye for detail within record keeping to ensure we maintain high standards. You will also need to have excellent communication skills as you will regularly interacting with building custodians and other customers on site.
This role will require you to travel to remote sites and drive a company van therefore it is essential that you hold a clean and valid UK driving licence.

You must be able to pass BPSS Clearance to be considered for this role.??
