Reed are seeking an enthusiastic and determined Children's Home Registered Manager to support the Ofsted registration process of a new 3-bed home for children with SEMH needs in Hendon, London, and then oversee the day to day running of the home.

Day to day of the role:
- Support with the OFSTED registration process, leading on the recruitment of Support and Senior Support Workers
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to provide exceptional care and create a homely environment for the children.
- Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving high standards.
- Develop and implement care plans that cater to the individual needs of the children.
- Engage in direct therapeutic work with children and utilise child-centred budgets to maintain the home to the highest standard.
- Provide support and guidance to your team, including a Deputy Manager, Seniors, and Support Workers.
- Ensure the home is prepared for Ofsted inspections and maintain a "Good" or "Outstanding" grade.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience relevant to the residential care of children.
- At least 2 years' experience supervising and managing staff.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
- LEVEL 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
- A track record of "Good" or "Outstanding" grades in recent Ofsted Inspections.
