As a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in CNC manufacturing you will optimize the production processes and have a key focus on process improvement, quality enhancement, and efficiency maximization.

Duties & Responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer will include:
- Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address manufacturing discrepancies.
- Utilize statistical analysis tools to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and execute experiments to validate process changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process control plans.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure compliance with established processes and standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in CNC machining technology to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, highly desired.
- Minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline and 5 years firsthand experience.
- Six Sigma – Green belt qualification.
- Background in a manufacturing, metals, machining, process engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters optimization.
- Experienced utilising lean manufacturing techniques and problem-solving tools.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) and CNC programming.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
- Meticulous with a commitment to quality and process excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
