Business Development Manager - Scotland

We are delighted to be working with this successful North West based Bridging and Development lender. They are now looking to expand their external sales team with a BDM covering Scotland. This role's primary function will be to generate new business to achieve their individual lending target.

Specific Responsibility:

  • Identify new business opportunities by developing relationships with referral partners, namely Brokers and Professional contacts.
  • Create a strategy, personal to you, that will achieve new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with your clients.
  • Attend conferences and events to build relationships with introducers and new clients.
  • Present to introducer firms to raise the profile and awareness of the company.
  • Maintain and update the introducer database with contacts on a regular basis.
  • Update the pipeline document on a regular basis with live cases.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the company's products and credit policy.
  • Possess a strong awareness of competitors and their offerings in our market.
  • Represent company in a professional manner at all times.

Other Duties:

  • Support your co BDM's in maintaining their pipeline of business in their absence.
  • Complete accurate and informative underwriting templates.
