SQL Data Analyst - Hybrid/London - £400 pd Outside IR35

My client is based in the London area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced SQL Data Analyst to join their team. They have newly merged, and are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team.

Your role will include:

  • Facilitating the seamless integration of data from diverse systems into a unified Data Warehouse.
  • Working with the Data Architect and other key data leaders to support the Data Warehouse initiative.
  • Data Mapping: Analyse source data structures and map them to the existing data model of the data warehouse, ensuring compatibility and alignment with business requirements.
  • Data Transformation: Work closely with data engineers and developers to design and implement data transformation processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) procedures.
  • Data Profiling: Conduct comprehensive data profiling to assess the quality, consistency, and completeness of source data, identifying any discrepancies or anomalies.

For this role, they are looking for a candidate that has experience in...

  • Proficiency in SQL, data profiling tools, and data modelling tools.
  • Firm grasp of the principles of ETL, data flow and source-to-target mapping using batch or real-time processes.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse / Lake principles and design.
  • Proficiency in Logical and Physical Data Model creation and maintenance.
