Simpson Judge is currently supporting a company based in Central Manchester. They are recruiting for a Management Accountant to be responsible for financial reporting, cash book management, nominal ledger and financial analysis. This is a permanent position offering hybrid working, easily accessible by public transport.
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000
Roles/ Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and reporting of monthly accounts
- Liaising with others in the business to provide monthly management account information
- Provision of audit information to the company's external auditors
- Accurate recording of receipts and payments on a daily basis
- Reconciliation of bank accounts to bank statements on a daily basis
- Reconciling cash collection
- Monthly reconciliation of the company's credit card receipts
- Prepare bank payments
- Balance sheet reconciliations on monthly basis
- Posting nominal ledger journals as required
- Analysis of expense and balance sheet accounts
- Reconciliation of internal stock audits to the nominal ledger
- Provision of ad hoc financial information to other departments in the business
Skills/ Experience
- Part Qualified Accountants will be considered (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- At least 2 years experience producing management account packs
