Branch Sales Administrator

In this role you will play a key part in supporting the owner with a range of administrative duties and stock management for an elegant boutique style retail business.

This is an exciting time to join a growing business and provides an extremely nice place to work each day. You will inherit an existing position that has been well set up with systems a processes, but with scope to make the job your own.

Our ideal person for this position will be a friendly and flexible individual who has great communication skills, excellent attention to detail who works methodically. Someone who is dependable and a self-starter with initiative and who wouldn't shy away from flexibility to assist customers in the shop on occasion. Does this sound like you?

The position is office based 5 days a week (including some Saturdays but no Sundays), with nice hours 9.45 -17.15, and conveniently based in the town centre.

As the business Administrator here you will ultimately be responsible for:

  • Entering all new products onto the stock management system
  • Checking all inbound deliveries against delivery notes and invoices against original orders
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Processing invoices
  • Liaising with the business owner to produce quotes for clients
  • Booking in repairs and bespoke orders and liaising with the workshop and keeping the customer informed
  • Processing returns
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Stationary management and ordering
  • Supporting the business owner to ensure the smooth running of the business including instore work
  • Item labelling
  • Helping the sales associates on the shop floor during peak times to ensure customers receive a prompt and lovely experience

As our ideal Administrator for this position you will need:

  • To have ideally worked within a similar role and preferably in an owner managed/small retail business
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • To be highly organised
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • To be goal oriented and task driven
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent IT Skills and confident user of Microsoft packages and accurate keyboard skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • To be a team player and capable of taking some responsibility in the owners absence.

Salary between £25.000 - £28,000 based on relevant experience. For the higher salary we would expect previous managerial or supervisory responsibility please.
