Location: London (Hybrid working)

Duration: 12 months

Pay rate: £158.48 - £221.84

The client seeks a Finance FP&A Analyst to be a key member supporting EMEA Commercial Sales. As Finance Analyst, you will partner closely with business leaders and their teams, providing strategic support by developing financial models and generating analytical insights to evaluate business opportunities and concepts. You will turn insights into operational measurements and drive innovation to improve our planning and forecasting tools and processes.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Build financial models for new business concepts Drive short- and long-term financial planning
  • Provide strategic support to key business initiatives and investment
  • Present financial summary and business insights to senior management
  • Tighten internal controls for program spending and revenue accrual
  • This role requires a self-starter with a strong financial modelling background, advanced Excel abilities, problem solving skills, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and project management skills.
  • Provide the tools and the guidance for the rest of finance to enable them to do their jobs.
  • Enabling function and reporting function globally.
  • How do we build reporting processes, give guidance to help finance partners to support their own areas and teams.
  • Report on financial performance on revenue and costs globally reported back to senior leadership.
  • Analyse ways of improving and streamlining, any quicker ways of doing things.
  • Assisting team members with requests across revenue and costs, putting together reporting analysis to understand performance, insight, trends, data analysis.
  • Data driven role, someone who likes detail and data heavy work, financial modelling, building tools.
  • Identifying opportunities, automation, simplifying processes.
  • Working towards improvements on reporting, AWS is growing very fast and lots of complexities to the role, fast paced environment, every day is different.

Candidate requirements:

  • 3-4 years experience required
  • Degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, economics would be required due to the nature of the role.
  • Passion for numbers, high level maths, Tech/Cloud would be beneficial but not essential, industry not an issue but financial models and data analysis
