The Opportunity

Are you an experienced electrician with a passion for cranes and lifting equipment? Join our skilled team as a Crane Maintenance Technician, where you will have the chance to work with a range of overhead cranes across various industries. In this role, you'll be inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing cranes, while also advising customers on how to keep their equipment safe and compliant. If you enjoy solving engineering challenges and working at the forefront of industrial safety, this role is for you.

Main Duties

  • Inspect, service, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment across various industries
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and lead technicians
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues
  • Ensure every job meets the highest safety and efficiency standards

  • Permanent, full-time position: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8am–4.30pm

What We're Looking For

  • Electro-mechanically trained (electrical bias preferred)
  • Time-served and electrically qualified (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of electrical drawings (an advantage)
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
  • Organised and presentable with an eye for detail
  • LEEA Qualifications (desirable but not essential)
