Position Title: Reprographics Operator

Location: London

Salary: £14 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00 (one late shift per week)

Duration: 3 month (initial) contract

Purpose of Role: The Reprographics Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring all print work is completed accurately and in compliance with Bank and Risk & Compliance guidelines. They are responsible for the timely production of client critical documents, adhering to best practice guidelines and contributing to service requirements.

Overview of Role: The Reprographics Operator reports to the onsite Team Leader and contributes to daily print production and administrative procedures in the Print Services department. Responsibilities include timely production of printed materials, problem resolution, and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Reprographics Print and follow the Document Lifecycle process.
  • Conduct pre-fighting of client requests and contribute to Workflow duties.
  • Perform Quality Checks on work and resolve ambiguities on requests.
  • Manage client deadlines and ensure accurate information is provided to end users.
  • Use the Symphony billing system and ensure equipment faults are addressed.
  • Build relationships with clients and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers.
  • Supervise incoming work distribution and minimize print wastage.
  • Adhere to Risk & Compliance, Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Client Interaction:

  • Provide excellent customer service and meet client deadlines.
  • Advise on production methods and manage client perceptions and expectations.

People Management:

  • Cross-skill in all aspects of the Reprographics role and support team members.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.

Health & Safety:

  • Promote Health & Safety and communicate proactively with management and staff.
  • Maintain accurate Health & Safety records and comply with statutory requirements.
