IT Trainer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a European intellectual property specialist as a Learning & Development specialist delivering impactful IT training sessions to employees both in the UK and across Europe.

Working within the L&D team, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating IT systems training programmes to enhance the technical skills and proficiency of individuals across the company. Focused on driving excellence, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every employee remainsupdated with the latest technologies and tools.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creating impactful IT training programmes and materials to support the specific learning needs of different departments.
  • Creating course overviews, lesson plans, presentations and enhancing the online e-learning portfolio
  • Delivering engaging and interactive training sessions and workshops on the internally developed IT systems, external software, and applications either through virtual platforms or in person with occasional travel to other offices both in the UK and across Europe.
  • Collaborate with the IT department, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and priorities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience as an IT Trainer or in a similar role, with a strong background in designing, delivering and evaluating technical training programmes.
  • Good Stakeholder Management skills with the ability and experience to question/challenge key Stakeholders in the Firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of various IT domains, platforms, and tools, along with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and accessible manner.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Proficiency in instructional design principles, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia authoring tools.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) you'll also have an excellent understanding of the wider M365 suite and MS Teams.
  • Professional services experience is essential, accountancy, legal services or the NHS experience would be particularly beneficial.
