Position Details:

  • Permanent role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a rotational shift pattern.
  • Opportunities for overtime with extra pay in the evenings and weekends.
  • Participation in an on-call rota every 5 weeks, requiring extended hours.

The role

  • Collaborate with both clients and internal teams to ensure pre-planned and reactive work is executed efficiently.
  • Adapt priorities based on resource levels and service agreements, reshuffling as needed to accommodate changes such as sickness.
  • Ensure strict adherence to agreed service levels, ensuring awareness of commercial impact to the business if not completed to SLA's.
  • Take meticulous notes during client interactions to capture all critical information, enabling teams to perform their tasks effectively and that you can plan accordingly.
  • Review outstanding work orders to be completed in "off peak" periods.

The person:

  • Proven experience in Planning or Scheduling within Waste, Water, Construction, Sewage or general maintenance industries is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with an eye for details others might overlook.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and adept at adjusting to ever-changing priorities.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and a calm demeanour when faced with challenges.
  • Be solutions orientated, with the ability to drive performance improvements.
  • Be willing and comfortable to undertake some small project work relating to continuous improvement activities.
