Transport Planner
Location: Immingham
Salary: up to £35k (DOE)
Hours: Mon-Fri
Grafton Recruitment are working on behalf of a successful, growing Freight and Cargo business in the Immingham area who are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to expand their dynamic team.
The role:
- Assisting with the day to day running of the vehicles
- Liaising with third party suppliers
- Analyse transport impacts of new developments
- Ensuring any transport issues arising from customers & drivers are resolved
- Planning daily workload for a fleet of vehicles based on site plus sub-contract hauliers
- Support fleet, transport planners and weighbridge staff
You will need:
- Planning experience
- Be easily adaptable to changing circumstances
- Have excellent verbal and written communication with internal business and external Customers / suppliers (hauliers)
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Transport & Logistics experience
