Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to join our client's team in Paisley. Our client is a well-known organisation in the pharmaceutical industry, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a laboratory setting.

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of training laboratories for scheduled courses and workshops for customers and technical employees. Your tasks will include performing administrative duties for daily, weekly, and monthly lab maintenance under the supervision and guidance of the Lab Manager. Additionally, you will assist in preparing the Customer Experience Centre for audits.

To thrive in this role, you should be enrolled at University or College studying life sciences. You must possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication abilities. The ability to multitask, work efficiently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team is crucial. Additionally, having a technical aptitude and problem-solving skills will be advantageous.

The working hours for this position will be 10 hours per week, with a total of 45 hours per month. The specific working schedule can be agreed upon with the Laboratory Manager to accommodate your availability.

This is a temporary position, offering an hourly rate of £11.44. The rate may vary depending on your age, in accordance with minimum wage regulations.
