Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality Physical Education lessons to secondary school students
- Creating engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
- Participating in extracurricular activities, such as sports teams and clubs
- Collaborating with other members of the Physical Education department to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and programs
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Must provide 2 professional references.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS on updated service or willingness to get one
- A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary school level.
- Excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be passionate about working with young people and helping them reach their full potential.
