I am working with an International Freight Forwarding Company with a presence in 8 countries.
They are in search for a Head of Finance for their Essex based office.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing the full accounts function for the UK office.
- Month end duties (accruals, journals, bank reconciliation, pre payments).
- Supporting with group consolidations
- Putting together board packs
- Managing working capital and cash planning
- Forecasting & budgeting
- Transactional duties (payables, receivables and credit control)
- Tax returns
- VAT
- Ensuring all finance policies are robust
- FX hedging
- Building strong relationships with Auditors, tax compliances advisor's, insurers and other key stakeholders
- Ad-hoc duties to assist with global accounts
Your Experience:
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
Monday - Friday (1 day work from home)
