Production Technician
Annual Salary: Up to £30,000

Reed Engineering are partnering with a Research and Development Manufacturing Company who work with a number of Tier 1 Engineering Companies. I am seeking a proactive and problem-solving Production Technician to join the growing company. The role involves assembly operations, quality control, and technical tasks such as programming and calibration. This is an opportunity for individuals who are keen to grow with the company and can think on their feet in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assemble products from scratch following detailed instructions
- Perform inspection work and quality control to ensure products meet high standards.
- Goods in and goods out inspection
- Handle and calibrate technical equipment
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of production processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable proactiveness and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and supportively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of computers, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Some experience with PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) and handling them, with basic technical knowledge.
