Are you passionate about providing exceptional housing management services and making a positive impact on communities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a Housing Association in Bristol as a Housing Officer on a contract basis. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents have access to high-quality housing and receive the support they need to maintain their tenancy agreements.

As a Housing Officer, you'll take charge of a designated patch of homes, addressing resident concerns and tenancy-related issues with a customer-focused approach. You'll work closely with colleagues and external partners to uphold our Values and contribute to the development of thriving communities.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of housing management, and the ability to sustain tenancies effectively. You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers, monitor and maintain homes and neighbourhoods, and contribute to delivering and developing services to benefit our residents.

  • Enhance the lives of our residents by providing them with dedicated support and advice, especially in terms of maintaining sustainable tenancy agreements and addressing concerns at an early stage.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and partners to ensure successful outcomes in letting homes, managing rent arrears, addressing behavioural issues, and maintaining homes and neighbourhoods in a professional and customer-focused manner.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in housing management and tenancy sustainment.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customer profiles.
  • A commitment to value for money and delivering high-quality customer service.
  • An understanding of the importance of diversity and inclusivity in community support and engagement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to organizational changes and participate in continuous learning and development activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in housing management, social services, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a customer service-oriented role within the healthcare and social services sector.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal development and improving performance within a team environment.
