Position: Site Manager

Location: Surrey, with operations in Berkshire, Surrey, and West London

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 + Car allowance + Pension

Company: Regional Tier Two Contractor

About: They are a well-respected regional tier two contractor based in Surrey. Their company specialises in delivering high-quality projects up to £10 million across a range of sectors, including education, Ministry of Defence (MoD), healthcare, commercial, and leisure. Operating in Berkshire, Surrey, and West London.

Role Overview: This business is looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join their team. Due to the amount of project secured you will either be leading a project up to the value of £2/3 million on a newbuild school or working as part of a team on a £10 million commercial scheme. This projects are due to commence in August & September.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site activities and operations.
  • Lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors and site staff.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain project schedules.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and secure site.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
  • CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work certification.
