Cover Supervisor
- Salary: £18,934 - £19,701 per annum pro rata
- Location: Steyning, BN44
- Job Type: Permanent, Part-time or Full Time, Term-time (30 hours per week)
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team at a leading educational institution. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and is ready to supervise groups or whole classes in the absence of the teacher. The position offers a chance to be part of a multi-academy trust with a tradition of excellence and a commitment to innovation and new thinking. Please note, you will need to be a driver with your own vehicle for this role.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supervise groups or whole classes during the absence of the teacher due to illness, personal reasons, or professional development.
- Provide administrative support when not covering lessons, to meet the needs of the school.
- Commit to training and be prepared to stand in for the Cover Manager when required.
- Engage with students to ensure a constructive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Commitment to training and personal development.
- Ability to manage classes and provide educational support.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and school needs.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
- Driving License with own vehicle
