**Band 7/8aClinical Pharmacist - Acute and Specialist Services
Based in Lerwick, Shetland
**Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri 0900-1700 (part-time also considered)
Return travel (from within the UK) will be paid for, and single board accommodation will be provided.
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to complete clinical work at ward level,check prescriptions within dispensary, answer clinical queries from within as well as out with the organisation relating to medicines.
**Duties:
- To provide pharmaceutical care to patients to ensure safe, effective, legal and economic medicines use.
- To provide advice on all aspects of drug therapy to patients and colleagues.
- To professionally check products and prescriptions.
- To supervise and train junior staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience.
- Registered with the GPhC.
- NHS experience
- Stage II hospital pharmacy training.
