£26,000 to £30,000 per annum

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Hemel Hempstead based client and manage the administration of all transactional processes within their MRP system and supporting systems. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of their order book, from order input through to shipment and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain customer sales orders in the MRP system, ensuring accuracy in customer due dates, quantities, and pricing.
  • Communicate directly with customers to resolve queries regarding due dates, order pricing discrepancies, etc.
  • Prepare production documentation, including job cards, customer drawings/specifications, and other necessary documents.
  • Generate dispatch documentation using the MRP system, including delivery notes, invoices, certificates of conformity, and customer shipping documentation.
  • Maintain and file traceability documentation, such as completed job cards and customer orders.
  • Support the stock take process in compliance with requirements.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience in production-related administration with an understanding of accuracy, traceability, and accountability.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/production control systems.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy manufacturing environment and meet customer due dates.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented with commercial awareness and professionalism.
  • Active listening skills to understand and interpret business priorities.
  • A good standard of general education, including a minimum of Grade 4 in GCSE English and Maths.
