Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Burnley area, is seeking a toolmaker to join their team.
You will work in a rotation system; you need to be flexible with shifts
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Our duties as toolmakers will include:
- Maintenance and repairs of tooling
- To produce and develop tooling to a high standard
- Operating multi-stage transfer presses at Platarg
- Inspection work involves using measurement tools such as Vernier callipers and gauges to check tooling dimensions.
To be successful in the role of toolmaker, you will:
- Be a time-served or apprenticeship-qualified toolmaker.
- Experience in turning, milling, grinding (both cylindrical and surface), and fitting skills
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings.
- A willingness to work shifts
On Offer:
- Starting salary between £35,000 and £45,000.00 per year, depending on experience and shifts worked

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 41.25 hours per week (you will be paid through your lunch break; 38.75 working hours as an average)
