Mechanical Draughtsperson

Essential Requirements / Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Experience producing detailed manufacturing drawings and arrangement drawings
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
- Proficient in CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor, and familiar with Autodesk Vault or similar drawing management systems
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, vendor drawings, and ensure compliance with drawing standards
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed and arrangement manufacturing drawings accurately and on schedule
- Check and review drawings produced by others to ensure standards and fitment accuracy
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models based on inputs from the design team
- Issue drawings using the company's Vault system and manage documentation effectively
- Interpret vendor and supplier drawings and integrate them into company standards
- Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality and program objectives are met
- Manage project timescales and provide regular progress updates to management
- Support other departments with engineering drawing resources as required
- Promote and uphold company values and work practices aligned with health, safety, and quality standards
