Food and Beverages Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced F&B Supervisor for our client's who are one of the leading South West's country clubs.

Job Summary:

As an F&B Supervisor, you will ensure a smooth operation and the guests receive outstanding service. You will oversee staff, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with all safety and licensing laws. The ideal candidate is passionate about the hospitality industry, possesses excellent leadership skills, and has a proven track record in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Train and mentor staff, schedule shifts, and maintain excellent timekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as alcohol licensing laws.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage stock levels and raise order requests to prevent overstock or stockouts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and suggest menu changes accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and provide feedback and coaching to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a restaurant or bar Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and other beverages.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and computer literacy.
  • Relevant certifications in food safety and alcohol service are preferred.
  • Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.
  • Must be 18 or older due to serving alcohol unsupervised.

Work Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, straight shifts, 5 days out of 7.
