Our client is seeking a Senior Lawyer or Partner to join their professional indemnity team, operating out of its Manchester city centre office. This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, managing a diverse caseload with a focus on construction, and supervising junior colleagues. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice, support team growth, and ensure exceptional client care standards.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive expertise in professional indemnity law, preferably with a background in construction disputes.
- Demonstrated track record of technical excellence and commercially focused advice delivery.
- Strong client management, practice development, and business development skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage and mentor legal teams.
- Sound understanding of legal/insurance relationships, particularly in liability insurance contexts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective managerial abilities with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Hybrid working but a minimum of three days per week in the Manchester office is expected.
