I am recruiting for an experienced IT Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role for one of my clients based in London. I am looking for someone with strong Cloud Technology experience. Mainly working with Azure but other multicloud knowledge would be a great benefit. Microsoft and Linux knowledge are also required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Be involved in resolving problems that span multiple disciplines within a support function, including 3rd parties.
- The ability to translate the impact of a technical issue onto a business service will be key to assessing the priority and focus for resolution.
- Understanding and addressing the root causes of problems is a key part of the role.
- As the subject matter expert, assist in the development of the IT Systems team in area of expertise.
- Ensuring personal compliance with and adherence to Equality and Diversity policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with and actively promote Health & Safety at work legislation, Organisational H&S policies, and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with General Data Protection Regulation 2016.
- Actively support the resolution of critical and major incidents across your area.
- Design and delivery of initiatives, and participation in working groups and project teams in support of organisational objectives.
- Maintain system records and high-quality documentation
General requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Relevant certifications related to the cloud environment, such as AZ-104
OR
- 3 years' experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer
- Passionate about enhancing the service being offered across the team.
- Natural collaborator, energetic and enthusiastic about cross functional delivery.
- Strong communicator in all its forms across all levels of the organisation.
- Focussed on prioritising the right things and planning to ensure success.
- Decisive, 'can do' attitude whilst maintaining a clear focus on problem solving and seeing action through to delivery
