J & J Thompson and Sons Ltd require a Food Production Supervisor to join our busy team washing/packing salads for UK supermarkets, based at our pack house in Hesketh Bank.
Duties will include:
- Overseeing and helping to wash and pack salads in line with company policy from field to dispatch.
- Organising orders/staff and workloads for the day.
- Record Keeping for audits/traceability etc.
Good team leading skills are essential along with a flexible approach to working hours.
This is a full time role but there are seasonal fluctuations in hours worked per week, around 40/week during winter and around 60 in summer, Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings when required.
Past experience of working with BRC/Red Tractor audits would be a big advantage but full training will be given.
Salary will be an hourly rate depending on experience.
