Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant for KS2 Pupil with SEMH Requirements
Tradewind is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Dukinfield. This role involves working closely with a Key Stage 2 child who has complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. While the child excels academically, they require significant support with behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with SEMH requirements.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a calm and compassionate learning environment.
- Support the pupil in achieving their academic potential.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure consistent support.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
