Transactional Services Assistant Director / Director

Manchester City Centre - Hybrid (2 days/week WFH)

Qualifications: ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Salary: Up to £90,000 Depending on experience

Time Recruitment have partnered up with an incredible Accountancy Practice, known for the way they look after their staff. They're looking to add a Transactional Services Assistant Director or Director to their Manchester team. This role will sit within the wider Corporate Finance / Due Diligence department.

Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in Financial Due Diligence assignments for Corporates, Funders, and Private Equity.
  • Proven track record of project management in Financial Due Diligence engagements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience managing and training junior team members.
  • Ability to balance project work with Business Development activities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

  • Determine project scope and resource requirements for Financial Due Diligence engagements.
  • Monitor progress against budget and established timeframes.
  • Review work completed by junior team members and resolve all project issues prior to Partner or Director review (where applicable).

2. Reporting:

  • Scope, prepare, and review reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables are produced for clients.

3. Team Management:

  • Contribute to the management of the project team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Capture, address, and effectively communicate client/project feedback to team members and the Director/Partner of the project.

4. Client Relationship Development:

  • Develop new relationships with clients and leverage existing relationships.
  • Support the conversion of opportunities into chargeable work, including pitch and scope participation.
  • Act as an ambassador of the firm, participate in marketing events, and stay informed about the wide range of services the firm offers.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently on projects with the support of the wider team.
  • Balances working on projects with Business Development activities.
  • Lives locally to Manchester and can travel to the city centre three days a week.
