Your new role
In your new role you will be expected to maintain the Claims ECF, including ensuring new files are regularly being created for incoming Claims and being routinely checked and updated, responding to clients via email and telephone, ensuring you respond to a tight deadline and broking cross class of business claims from first notification of loss through to settlement.
You will also be responsible for the processing of claims onto the ECF and Xchanging systems, ensuring that Claims payments are collected and paid out in a timely and efficient manner whilst also attending meetings with clients and underwriters as and when required. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering statistical Claims data to internal stakeholders of the business when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will need circa 5 years of Lloyd's Claims handling experience within a Lloyd's Insurance broker, you will need previous experience of using the Xchanging and ECF system and, due to this role covering a wide range of different classes of business, you will need a strong background across a range of Non-Marine Claims.
You will need to be an ambitious candidate, keen to undertake much more responsibility in your role, able to work to tight deadlines and keen for a big step-up in your Claims career. You will need to be a self-motivator, a great team player and someone who has great written and verbal communication skills.
