Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with challenging behaviors, helping them manage and improve their conduct.
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCo to develop and implement effective behavior management strategies.
- Conduct one-to-one and small group mentoring sessions to address individual student needs.
- Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Encourage positive behavior and promote social and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly with behavioral challenges.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
