Cobalt are working with a well-established property and asset management company who are looking for an Assistant Client Accountant to join their team in London. In this position as an Assistant Client Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting Senior Client Accountants working across a large number of commercial and residential portfolios.

Responsibilities:
- Manage property service charge budgets, including raising and issuing charges for service, rent, insurance, and ad-hoc fees to tenants and leaseholders.
- Ensure accurate receipting of incoming payments to the correct leaseholder accounts.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly, and occasionally monthly, variance reports.
- Support the client accountant with monthly client reporting and potential rent transfers to clients.
- Set up new managements on Qube and update the system following lease renewals or assignments.
- Follow up on unpaid rents and service charges through calls and arrears letters, coordinating with solicitors for recovery if necessary, and reporting unpaid rents to clients as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Junior/ Assistant Client Accountant
- Ideally experience working on commercial or residential portfolios
- Experience using a property management system
